A set of files to enable adding an [administrative division](https://github.com/fiboa/administrative-division-extension) column to GeoParquet data. Initially just an Overture 'divisions' file from January 2025 filtered to just be 'country'. Hopefully will add other options here. Can be used in [geoparquet-tools](https://github.com/cholmes/geoparquet-tools) 'add country-codes'

EuroCrops
EuroCrops is a dataset collection combining all publicly available self-declared crop reporting datasets from countries of the European Union. This distribution of the dataset makes it available in cloud-native geospatial formats (GeoParquet, FlatGeobuf, PMTiles), and offers some transformations to align projections to more easily treat it as a single dataset

Google Open Buildings
Google's Open Buildings is an open access dataset containing the geometry of buildings across most of Africa, South Asia and South-East Asia. This version of the dataset is transformed to be partitioned by admin 1 boundaries and available in cloud-native geospatial formats (PMTiles, GeoParquet). Note that https://source.coop/repositories/vida/google-microsoft-osm-open-buildings/description is likely a better source for this data. There is no commitment to keep this dataset up to date with the latest releases. The code used to do the processing can be found at https://github.com/opengeos/open-buildings

National Hydrography Dataset (United States)
The National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) represents the water drainage network of the United States with features such as rivers, streams, canals, lakes, ponds, coastline, dams, and stream gages. More information at https://www.usgs.gov/national-hydrography/national-hydrography-dataset The initial data in this is just NHDFlowlines, and the 'M' coordinate has been removed (as GeoParquet does not yet support M).

Overture Open Buildings
Overture provides several open datasets. This was an experimental re-distribution of their buildings dataset release from mid-2023 transformed into with 'Cloud-Native Geospatial' formats (PMTiles, GeoParquet). They now release all data in those formats, so please use https://docs.overturemaps.org/release/latest/ to get the data.

STAC-GeoParquet Public Missions
(Work In Progress) This is a collection of public STAC archives, in the STAC-GeoParquet format, for major satellite missions. To start it's just sentinel 2 and Landsat. They are copied from Microsoft Planetary computer, updating them to the latest version of Geoparquet and aiming to ensure that they follow all the best practices. Currently there are no 'updates', just a bulk transfer, under the idea that it's pretty easy to get the latest from a STAC API. But in the future we can try to add automated or periodic manual updates. The current versions aren't yet perfect. They are also quite heavy, so may explore versions that don't include all the assets information.
